A small group of restaurants just added another location to the mix. The Local Kitchen and Drinks made its debut in Woburn earlier this month and is now up and running at 350 Cambridge Rd., the space formerly occupied by Masa, according to Boston Restaurant Talk.
The Local has three other locations (Newton, Wayland, and Wellesley), and it has a reputation of being a neighborhood eatery with classic American entrees ranging from flatbread pizzas to burgers and sandwiches.
The restaurant opened on November 9 and is now serving brunch on weekends from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to its website, in addition to weekday lunch and daily dinner. The menu at The Local includes dishes such as short rib poutine, crab cakes, salads, pasta, and lots more, along with beer, wine, and cocktails. There's a gluten-free menu and a children's menu available.
