A new restaurant on the campus of the University of Connecticut will soon have a sister location in Boston near Berklee College of Music. Love Art Sushi is getting ready to open at 1 Haviland St. and is now hiring employees, according to a post on Craigslist. It could open in December, according to a Facebook post.

Love Art Sushi only recently opened in Connecticut, with posts on its Facebook page indicating the grand opening was October 29. The restaurant serves a menu of sushi bowls made with white or brown rice, plus a wide selection of "mix-ins" that range from baby corn, bean sprouts, and cucumber to mandarin oranges, sugar snap peas, and wonton chips. Other toppings include avocado, chicken, salmon, tuna, tofu, and hard boiled eggs, and the bowls can be topped off with assorted sauces.

There are also bubble teas and snacks like fried gyoza and shrimp tempura, as well as "makirittos" that are wrapped in seaweed. (Sushi burritos are also starting to appear elsewhere in the Boston area, with side-by-side spots popping up in Somerville's Davis Square — one already open and the other coming soon.)

This new restaurant takes over the space long occupied by T.C.’s Lounge, as Boston Restaurant Talk noted. T.C.’s had been around for more than 40 years but closed in March 2012 after suffering thousands of dollars worth of damage from a fire. The restaurant was denied a new lease for the space and has not reopened elsewhere.
