The team behind Alba Restaurant in Quincy will open a new place next door and is busy finishing the buildout and finalizing the menu. Zef Cicchetti & Raw Bar is on track to open in early November, and chef Keith Andersen is putting the finishing touches on the Venetian-inspired cuisine.
The seven sections of the menu cover everything from salads and vegetables to bruschetta, pasta, fish, meat, and pizza. Andersen recently previewed a selection of the menu for owner Leo Keka and the Alba staff, featuring dishes like prime beef steak tartar bruschetta with pickled mustard seeds and shaved fennel, Berkshire pork osso bucco, and whole grilled Mediterranean branzino, among others.
Zef Cicchetti will span 5,000 square feet of space with an open kitchen and 140 seats, including a bar.
