A new restaurant in Kendall Square has set its opening date and is now hiring employees in preparation. Glass House will make its debut on November 1 at 450 Kendall St. and needs staff to get the place up and running, Boston Restaurant Talk reported.
Glass House posted a callout for job seekers on Craigslist, announcing its targeted November opening date. The restaurant is the work of The Briar Group, which also operates Gather, Solas, The Harp, City Table, Ned Devine’s, and more. The name Glass House is a change from the originally announced name, Launch, as reported in October of last year when the city of Cambridge granted approval for the restaurant and the group signed a lease for the space.
The restaurant will reportedly feature seafood, including raw bar items, lobster, and potentially weekend brunch, as previously reported.
