A restaurant and bar in East Somerville that is just a few years old has closed down ahead of the development of a new apartment complex, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. East End Grille, which was located at 118 Broadway, has reportedly been shuttered for a number of days, with the website out of commission.
A Yelp page for the restaurant also indicates that it has closed down. East End Grille first opened in the summer of 2013, as previously reported, and it served a selection of pub fare, including appetizers that ranged from wings and mini-burgers to beef carpaccio, soups, salads, some seafood entrees, flatbreads, and burgers.
East End Grille was located right near La Brasa and the new concept Fat Hen, and it was down the street from Winter Hill Brewing Company.
