A new Japanese eatery is now open and feeding the Fenway neighborhood. M&J Teriyaki took over the former Trattoria Toscana space at 130 Jersey St., as previously reported, and the restaurant has been dishing out noodles, teriyaki, and bubble tea since the end of September.
M&J Teriyaki is located across the street from a Thai restaurant called Thaitation and around the corner from a stretch of Peterborough Street that is populated with a number of restaurants, including Swish Shabu, another spot for Japanese cuisine. The selection of appetizers on the menu at M&J Teriyaki includes everything from spring rolls, scallion pancakes, and Peking ravioli to fried chicken wings.
The main dishes consist of assorted noodle soups and vegetable, meat, and seafood entrees that come with hibachi mixed vegetables, and there is a full list of flavors for bubble tea, smoothies, and slush. M&J Teriyaki is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
