A new eatery in Brookline is now open, and the person behind it has a history of running restaurants — not just in the neighborhood, but in the exact restaurant space where the new place operates. Vittorio’s Kosher Grill is up and running at 1398 Beacon St., according to Universal Hub, and it's the same address where owner Vittorio Hassan once operated a kosher pizzeria.
Most recently, the space was home to Pizzeria Dante, but Vittorio’s Kosher Pizzeria operated there from 1995 to 2003. Now Hassan has a different menu of food to offer the neighborhood, including kosher burgers, wraps, salads, and pita sandwiches.
The restaurant opened last week and is licensed to operate between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Friday, as previously reported.
