An outpost of a Chinatown dim sum spot has opened in Quincy. Winsor Dim Sum House took over the former Crystal Jade location in Wollaston, according to Boston Restaurant Talk, bringing a lineup of dumplings, buns, and more to 706 Hancock St.
Winsor Dim Sum House is connected to Winsor Dim Sum Cafe in Chinatown, and it serves a similar dim sum menu, complete with steamed and fried offerings, rice rolls, congee, steamed rice dishes, some vegan options, and a selection of desserts. Crystal Jade had closed down over the summer, and Winsor Dim Sum House has officially opened in the space.
Early reviews on Yelp indicate the restaurant does not accept credit cards and has been packed full of patrons since its opening in August. The restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
