A cafe and supper club is a week out from opening on Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge. Urban Hearth opens Thursday, October 27, bringing baked goods, tartine, casseroles, and more to the former L’Impasto space at 2263 Mass. Ave., according to a post on Instagram.
Chef Erin Miller has operated Urban Hearth for more than a decade, offering customized fine dining events. This new storefront will expand the business to include a cafe by day and a supper club at night, as previously reported. During cafe hours, Urban Hearth will serve coffee in addition to baked goods and light fare, and there will be wifi available for those looking to sit a while. In the evenings, diners will find communal seating and a multi-course prix fixe menu that taps into seasonal ingredients.
Urban Hearth also offers business lunches and caters parties, receptions, and other events, in addition to offering at-home dining service.
