A North End bakery has relocated down the road to a larger space, and the owner is in the midst of working on a new concept. Lulu’s Sweet Shoppe is now operating at 28 Parmenter St. in the former Cocoanuts space, according to North End Waterfront.

The owner of the bakery, Sandy Russo, first opened the concept in 2004 and recently relocated the bakery to its new spot, moving from 57 Salem St. Lulu’s held its grand reopening on Parmenter Street last Friday, complete with free mini cupcakes. The bakery’s new space is larger than its last and has counter seats where customers can eat Lulu’s lineup of cupcakes, ice cream, candy, and more.

Additionally, Russo reportedly plans to open a cafe called Lulu’s Kitchen close by to the bakery, on Hanover Street near Haymarket.
