One of Boston’s homegrown chains will soon take the place of another local chain in a handful of locations around Greater Boston. B.Good has plans to transition into Boloco restaurant spaces near Northeastern and in Natick; Wellesley; Burlington, VT; and Concord, NH, according to Boston Restaurant Talk.
B.Good (stylized as b.good) is in the midst of a massive expansion, according to a video relaying the news of the transitions. "We are selling restaurants to make sure that Boloco as a company can stay in business," Boloco co-founder John Pepper said in the video. The two chains reportedly have close ties, as B.Good’s co-founder Anthony Ackil had his first restaurant job at a Boloco, and B.Good modeled its systems off Boloco’s.
B.Good currently has 45 locations, Ackil said in the video, and that number will grow to 60 by March 2017.
