A French-Asian bakery with an existing location near Boston’s City Hall will open a second location in the area. Tous Les Jours will take over a storefront on Harvard Avenue in Allston, an employee reached at the Downtown bakery confirmed Thursday.
The bakery, which first started in South Korea in 1997, expanded to the United States in 2004. In addition to the Downtown Boston location, there is another Tous Les Jours bakery in Burlington, Mass. Tous Les Jours specializes in a variety of breads, pastries, and sandwiches, and some of its most recognizable items include Korean-style baked pan cake breads and brioche towers. The bakery also offers smoothies, coffee, bubble teas, and more.
Tous Les Jours has applied for a license to operate at 150-152 Harvard Ave., according to an agenda for the City of Boston’s licensing board. An opening date is not yet set, but updates will be provided when they are made available.
