South Station has a new spot for sweets, courtesy of a bakery in West Roxbury. Delectable Desires Pastries has opened a kiosk in the food court at the train station and is now serving sweet treats for commuters, according to Boston Restaurant Talk.
The shop is located in front of the CVS and sells cupcakes, assorted cookies, the bakery’s signature brownies, and more. Owner Carlene O'Garro has been in the business of baking cakes since 2007 and opened the Delectable Desires shop in West Roxbury in 2015, as previously reported.
O’Garro’s new shop in South Station is slated to be open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., though a post on the Delectable Desires Facebook page indicated the soft opening on October 6 kicked off at 5:30 a.m.
