In Ipswich.

Facebook

Founded in 1991, Ipswich Ale has opened the doors to Ipswich Ale Brewer's Table this week, a 120-seat restaurant within its downtown Ipswich brewery. "Opening a restaurant has been a whirlwind experience, and our sincerest thanks go out to everyone who has joined us for dinner in the past week," the brewery posted today on Facebook. "We've been having so much fun, and you've eaten so much food, that we simply can't open for lunch today as originally planned. Come join us for dinner and beers starting at 4PM any day this week. We'll be ready to start serving lunch sometime within the next few days."

The Brewer's Table includes 15 tap lines, views of the brewing process, and dishes like pastrami smoked salmon "nigiri." (The menu ranges from "gastro and brewpub to New American cuisine," according to the website.)

UPDATE, 3/3/16: The Brewer's Table is now open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 11 p.m. on Sundays.
