A second location of Milton's The Plate is now open (also in Milton). Chef Suzanne Lombardi and her team unveiled the new location at Milton Marketplace on Tuesday, showcasing an expanded breakfast menu, lunch, and a mezze bar, according to a tip Eater received.

The seasonal menu for the new restaurant features breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, pastries, salads, and more. Offerings are broken down by concept, from "a.m. treats" like the biscuit sandwich, to "breakfasty" items like buttermilk griddle cakes, to "lunchy" treats, such as the warm smoked brisket sandwich.

The Plate shared pictures from its opening day on Facebook.

Lombardi's concept aims to produce "seriously delicious, fresh, and imaginative" foods with a homey vibe.

The Plate is located on the second floor of the Milton Marketplace at 10 Bassett St. It also serves coffee, tea, and other beverages, and it has a catering service. It is open from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. The restaurant is closed on Mondays.
