A coffee shop new to Hyde Park opened recently, according to Universal Hub. Salamander's Coffee Place, formerly of East Boston, had its sights set on this new neighborhood since July 2014 and has finally set up shop at 1231 River St.
Mercedes Pica, the owner of Salamander's, applied for a license at the new place back in December 2015 and turned around the opening pretty quickly. Salamander's reportedly has assorted breakfast items like omelettes and burritos, in addition to smoothies, coffee beverages, and lunch.
The shop's Facebook page has not yet been updated to reflect its new location, but it is reportedly open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
