A Davis Square restaurant is temporarily closed for renovations, but it will be back soon with some new amenities.

According to a tipster, Mr. Crepe (51 Davis Sq.) closed on January 19 and will reopen on January 29. The restaurant has been around since 1999 and will use this closure to modernize the space.

Mr. Crepe's website and Facebook page confirm the closure, saying: "Dear Customers, We are having a facelift! So you can enjoy your favorite crepes in a modern and chic new space. Because of this we will be closing temporarily from Tuesday January 19th until Thursday January 29th. We hope that you will join us again once our refreshed look is here. We are very sorry for the inconvenience."

Mr. Crepe serves quite the range of savory and sweet crepes, from a baby spinach crepe made with roasted mushrooms, basil, and cheese to its signature "tiff and tone" dessert crepe, made with strawberries and bananas, Belgian chocolate, and vanilla ice cream.

The restaurant also offers a build-your-own option and a "super crepe," with roasted chicken and carrots, green olives, tomatoes, baby spinach, and feta cheese.
