Rockin’ & Roastin’ Cafe Will Finally Open in North Attleboro

Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer, apparent hater of the letter G, is behind the venture.

Originally announced in late 2014 and slated for an early 2015 opening, Joey Kramer's Rockin' & Roastin' Cafe will finally open in North Attleboro in April 2016, Vanyaland reports, citing the Sun Chronicle. Kramer — the drummer of Aerosmith — co-owns the venture with business partners Ron Mann and Frank Cimler. Ernie Boch, Jr. (of car dealership and donating-too-much-to-Donald-Trump fame) owns the land where the cafe is located (551B South Washington St.)

A press release from way back in December 2014 promised "a coffeehouse with rockstar edge," including dragon-bedecked signage (with illuminated eyes) and an "expertly backlit" glass case containing Kramer's full drum kit from a recent tour. Also at Rockin' & Roastin' Cafe: "undulating rock-and-roll images and memorabilia" on the ceiling, "plush" couches, and "legendary" concerts playing on screens. A new release sent last week reinforces these details.

The cafe will serve a variety of coffee-based drinks highlighting Kramer's, Mann's, and Cimler's Rockin' & Roastin' shade-grown, organic coffee brand, along with pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and, of course, branded merchandise.

The North Attleboro cafe may be the first of multiple locations. Kramer also recently opened a full restaurant at Sunday River in Newry, Maine: Rockin' and Roastin' Cafe and Restaurant — At the Mountain.
