A new restaurant is taking over the India Castle space at 928 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge, as previously reported. Identified as "Thresher" in the agenda for a licensing commission hearing, it will actually be called Pammy's, according to Cambridge Day, and it could open this spring. The space is located on the outskirts of Central Square, near Dumpling House.
The upcoming restaurant is named for Pamela Willis, who owns Pammy's with her husband Christopher Willis, a chef and wheat-milling enthusiast, according to CD. It's too early for many menu details, but fresh pasta will play a central role, and the restaurant will be fine dining but "less stuffy," Pamela said at the hearing, according to CD.
The restaurant will seat 85 and serve dinner nightly, plus an eventual weekend brunch, and it will have a full liquor license.
