A Colombian restaurant in Allston has shut down, according to a Hungry Onion user.
Camino Real (48 Harvard Ave.), which opened in 1999, served classic Colombian dishes and offered take-out and catering. Its specialties included plato paisa, served with beef, pork or chicken, rice, beans, pork rind, sweet plantains and an egg; bistec a caballo; and arroz con pollo, among others.
The restaurant had 3.5 stars on Yelp, which notes the closure, while Google+ also indicates that Camino Real has shut down.
Eater has reached out for more details.
