New noodles are heading to Chinatown sometime this winter. From the creators of Shojo comes Ruckus Noodles, an Asian-style noodle bar that offers a different take on tradition.

The 20-seat space will feature the work of executive chef Mark O'Leary, according to Boston Magazine. Soup dominates, with assorted Chinese, Thai, and Japanese dishes with a little extra kick. Proposed dishes reportedly include smoked fish-head soup with squid ink cuttlefish balls, lo mein and taro-wrapped duck, and udon.

The proposed location for Ruckus Noodles is 5 Tyler St., in the same building as Shojo.

Eater has reached out for more noodley details.

Update: A rep for Shojo confirmed the Ruckus concept is in the works, but that the menu is not finalized and no further details are currently available. Any updates will be shared when they are known.
