Barbara Lynch (Menton, No. 9 Park, and the list goes on) is collaborating with her niece, Babycakes bakery owner Kerri Lynch-Delaney, to open an "upscale-casual" Italian restaurant in Quincy Center, the Boston Herald reports. The duo hasn't yet announced a name for the restaurant, which will be located on Cottage Avenue and specialize in sheet-pan pizzas. (The dough has already been "perfected," Lynch told the Herald.)

Additionally, they'll serve steak tips that call back to a popular dish at shuttered South Boston pub The Quiet Man, which was owned by Lynch-Delaney's father and Lynch's brother, Paul "Lynchie" Lynch. The Quiet Man closed in 2008.

In a 2014 New York Times profile, well worth a full read, Lynch indicated that she was done opening new restaurants, saying that she has already "got everything [she] wanted." But, she continued: "It's not about me anymore. It's about the next generation. We need more women in this business." Her next move seems to fulfill this goal.
