A Greek restaurant could be coming to Davis Square sometime this fall. In August, the company Opa Greek Yeeros filed its incorporation paperwork using the address for the original Kickass Cupcakes location on Highland Avenue (before it moved up Spring Hill), and the people behind it are Christos Poutahidis and Kyriakos Kouzoukas, who are also planning to open a doughnut shop around the corner at 377 Summer St.
Tenoch, the Medford- and North End-based Mexican restaurant and food truck, was originally slated for the Kickass Cupcakes space at 378 Highland Ave., but it has since found another spot a few doors down (in the same strip of storefronts), in the former M3 space, and is also expected to open this fall.
Kouzoukas has been in the restaurant business for more than 20 years, and Poutahidis is the landlord of the space where Opa Greek Yeeros will open, as well as the rest of the building.
