KENDALL SQUARE — Commonwealth's weekly "Marky Mark and the Funky Brunch" will be a fundraising effort this Sunday, September 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Commonwealth owner Steve "Nookie" Postal is teaming up with chefs from other nearby spots (Catalyst, Puritan & Co., Cafe ArtScience, State Park, and West Bridge, along with Stephanie Cmar from Fairsted Kitchen in Brookline) to throw a blowout brunch in support of the staff of The Blue Room, currently out of work because of a fire. Tickets to the brunch are $30 for adults and $15 for children, and the meal includes seven items served family-style, with a choice of coffee or juice.
