Tomorrow is opening day for the Allston location of Bee's Knees Supply Co., a specialty food shop and deli, whose big sibling opened in Fort Point a couple of years ago. The new spot is at 1316 Commonwealth Ave., right along the B branch of the Green Line.
It features a 20-seat coffee and juice bar, plus seating for those dining in. The menu, embedded below, includes multiple grilled cheeses and a variety of deli sandwiches, salads, snacks, and more. Also on the premises: a fireplace, a record player, and a large patio. As far as retail goes, Bee's Knees offers beer and wine as well as locally sourced cheese, charcuterie, grocery items, and lots more.
Owner Jason Owens previously owned Local 149 and American Provisions, both in South Boston.
The new location of Bee's Knees is open seven days a week: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
