A few renovation and construction updates for today:
NEEDHAM — Blue on Highland has been closed for renovations for a few weeks, and the restaurant has been sharing lots of photos on Facebook as the restaurant gets its refresh, from exposed brick to hickory walls. A row of new booths features high walls separating each table from the next.
WATERTOWN — Red Lentil, which specializes in vegan and vegetarian food, closed a little over a month ago for renovations, and the reopening will likely be any day now. The restaurant shared a few photos of the nearly completed space on Facebook today. The team is also opening a new concept, also vegetarian and vegan, in the former Grappa space elsewhere in Watertown.
SOUTH END — One of Cuppacoffee's upcoming expansions is almost ready; the Australian coffee shop, whose first location is by Haymarket, shared a photo of the in-progress space inside of the Troy Boston apartment building. A Back Bay location is also in the works.
