In late June, the food court at the Prudential Center shut down to make way for the eventual glitzy opening of Eataly, a three-floor extravaganza of Italian dining and shopping. The loss of the food court included a number of fast-casual lunch options, like Cheeseboy, Regina Pizzeria, and Boston Chowder Co. To fill the void, a temporary food court has popped up. Hours, menus, and vendors are available here.
The current line-up includes Pennypackers, Chicken & Rice Guys, Sa Pa, and Wok N Talk. They're set up in the Belvidere Arcade section of the Pru, notes Pennypackers, whose stand is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Thursday. The company, which also operates a food truck and a Magoun Square restaurant, is shutting down its restaurant for a few days this week, probably until Thursday, to get into a proper rhythm with the new Pru stand.
