Brookline Village has a new cafe, wine bar, and arts venue, all under one roof. The Middle Gray opened for business at 6 Station St. on Saturday.
We're officially open to the public! Thanks for all the love & support these past few months. We can't wait to have you all in! #MGCInMotion

A physical space with a focus on food was always in the cards for owners Catalina Piedrahita and Alvaro Morales, who launched the arts organization and online magazine the Middle Gray two years ago. The venue features a cafe on one side and a restaurant with a U-shaped bar on the other, with gallery space to showcase and support emerging artists, Urban Daddy reported.
Piedrahita's mother joins the duo with family recipes, and the cuisine has a South American bent. Piedrahita said the menu will be posted soon on Middle Gray's website, but you can definitely expect arepas, maize-based flatbread sandwiches; Spanish omelettes; and tapas on the restaurant side.
Currently, the Middle Gray is open Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., Friday - Saturday 8 a.m. - 11 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. - 6 p.m., but the hours will be adjusted soon, too, according to Piedrahita.
