1) NORWOOD — A local food truck has expanded to a second brick-and-mortar shop: Boston's Baddest Burgers opened up in its hometown of Norwood late in June. Like its truck, launched in 2012, and its Canton shop, which opened last summer, the burger joint offers grilled patties as well as hot dogs, plus deli sandwiches and Capt. Parker's famous clam chowder. It's open Monday - Saturday 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Status: Certified open. 403 Boston Providence Turnpike, Norwood. (781)-255-1100.
2) BACK BAY — Yamato II is now open in Back Bay, the second location for this Brighton-based sushi shop. It opened late in June in the former Vlora space; the Mediterranean restaurant shuttered in April. Especially hungry?
