1) NORWOOD — A local food truck has expanded to a second brick-and-mortar shop: Boston's Baddest Burgers opened up in its hometown of Norwood late in June. Like its truck, launched in 2012, and its Canton shop, which opened last summer, the burger joint offers grilled patties as well as hot dogs, plus deli sandwiches and Capt. Parker's famous clam chowder. It's open Monday - Saturday 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Status: Certified open. 403 Boston Providence Turnpike, Norwood. (781)-255-1100.

2) BACK BAY — Yamato II is now open in Back Bay, the second location for this Brighton-based sushi shop. It opened late in June in the former Vlora space; the Mediterranean restaurant shuttered in April. Especially hungry? Yamato II offers a $17.50, all-you-can-eat lunch, and as a dinner option, it's $24.99 Sunday - Thursday and $26.99 on Friday and Saturday. It's open daily 11 a.m. - 1 a.m. Status: Certified open. 545 Boylston St., Boston. (857) 250-4473.

3) BELMONT — Yesterday was Day 1 for Tony G's Barbecue. The menu spans barbecue styles, and also offers some unexpected Tex-Mex choices, like empanadas, quesadillas, and burritos with either pulled pork or pulled chicken. Status: Certified open. 289 Belmont St., Belmont. (617) 484-0001.
