Based on The New York Times' column by the same name, 36 Hours debuts on the Travel Channel on Monday, August 17 at 8 p.m., featuring Boston's own Kristen Kish, formerly of Menton and winner of the 10th season of Top Chef. Kish co-hosts the show with Kyle Martino, a former professional U.S. soccer player, and the duo traipses around the globe spending 36 jam-packed hours in a different city each episode, dining and more.
The six-episode series begins in Berlin and also features Barcelona, Istanbul, Nashville, Portland (Oregon), and yes, Boston. A press release promises "companion editorial and video content across platforms on NYTimes.com and Travel Channel digital properties."
