Curbed Cuts DOWNTOWN CROSSING — There is a proposal now to build a 30-story, 305-foot, largely residential tower at 533 Washington Street.

DOWNTOWN BOSTON — Meanwhile, a 100-foot height-chop by the would-be developers of the 171 Tremont Street condo is not doing it for some opponents, who still fret about potential shadows.

SOMERVILLE — Now we know how many condos have traded at 197 Union Square.
