The Somerville-based Alpine Restaurant Group (PostoThe Painted BurroRosebud American Kitchen & Bar) is now hiring for its first suburban outpost, and Boston Restaurant Talk notes that the upcoming Waltham location will be called Osteria Posto.

The blog reported last year that chef/owner Joe Casinelli and team were expanding the Posto brand to a new mixed-use development called 10 Citypoint. Now, a couple job listings indicate Osteria Posto is moving in on nearby Third Street.

Osteria Posto will be much larger than Casinelli's original restaurant on Elm Street in Somerville. The listing for a general manager indicates it will have about 230 seats, including a 20-seat bar, private dining options, and a three-season patio.

It will also have a 200-plus-selection wine list, with limited Italian releases and "sought after New World and Old World producers." The Davis Square Posto offers about 50 different wines. The cocktail program at Osteria Posto will feature classics and "fun re-interpretations of prohibition era" drinks.

For food, like Posto, Osteria will have a wood-burning oven that turns out rustic, Neapolitan pizzas, as well as house-made pastas, roasted meats, and seafood. There will also be grilled steaks and chops. "Respecting seasonality, being trend conscience without being trendy, creating well balanced, thoughtfully prepared dishes, striving for excellence and paying attention to the details is only a small part of our food philosophy," the sous chef and pastry chef listings indicate.

Osteria Posto is projected to open in November.
