Jack's Abby is keeping fans up-to-date via social media on the construction going at its forthcoming Framingham brewery and restaurant, and this week, the company said wood-fired pizza will be the main form of sustenance there.

"There will be many vegetarian possibilities," the team responded to a Facebook inquiry from an herbivorous fan.

In a short video posted to the company's blog yesterday, co-owner Sam Hendler describes the planned layout of the production facility, bar, and kitchen, located at 100 Clinton St. "We're going to have big, garage doors through the wall over there, and communal seating. It's going to be a really fun, inviting atmosphere here," he said. From the restaurant, there will be windows overlooking the fermentation area, too, he noted. Walls have started going up to define the restaurant.

All told, the new facility will be about five-and-a-half times bigger than the current brewery at 81 Morton St. The company recently received a vote of confidence from the Framingham Selectboard and the town's voters; it was granted a 7-year tax break aimed at keeping the company in Framingham and making improvements to the historic Dennison Building.
