The new "modern Japanese restaurant" in the North End, Crudo, opens to the public for dinner at 5 p.m. tonight.
The new, two-story restaurant (called Sushi Rock in a previous incarnation) moved into the space that formerly housed Pulcinella Mozzarella Bar e Ristorante. Based on a Facebook review posted after friends and family service this weekend, the second floor has wide open windows from which to enjoy the view over Salem Street.
As previously reported, Crudo has a sushi bar on the first floor, and its tagline is "Sushi • Sake • Socialize." It also has a full bar and dining rooms on both levels.
