Chestnut Hill Square — home to Wegmans, Sweetgreen, The Capital Grille, and some other restaurants and stores — announced today that it will add a new location of Bon Me in late fall 2015. The Vietnamese-inspired company now has five food trucks and two brick-and-mortar locations (Kendall Square and Fort Point). Plus, another permanent Bon Me is in the works in Cambridge's Fresh Pond area, located in the former Cheddar's Pizzeria space. That one is slated to open this summer.
Bon Me's menu features four main types of dishes: banh mi-inspired sandwiches, rice bowls, noodle salads, and salads. Each has some customizable options, like a variety of fillings — roasted tofu, miso-braised pulled pork, etc. The growing chain also has a few sides, desserts, and drinks, like bubble tea and spicy ginger lemonade.
