ALLSTON — Dolphin Bay opened earlier this week, and a couple of enthusiastic Yelpers report it brings authentic Taiwanese food to Brighton Ave. It also has boba tea. DORCHESTER — Jerk, a Jamaican restaurant, is now open in Dorchester. Owner George H. Whitehead, Jr. previously operated the nearby takeout spot Island Style, and he says on Jerk's website that the new location strives for an upscale, hip vibe. ALLSTON — The Hong Kong Supermarket food court got a new sushi place yesterday. The Chowhound user who shared the intel says Geido Sushi has maki rolls, nigiri, salads, sides, and a chirashi dish. The place hasn't fleshed out its web presence yet, but an employee reached by phone today confirmed the Allston spot isn't affiliated with a Brooklyn, N.Y. sushi restaurant of the same name.
