The end is near for Hungry Mother, a Kendall Square staple for more than seven years. According to an announcement on the restaurant's website, Barry Maiden, who recently took home a James Beard for Best Chef Northeast, is leaving Hungry Mother (and sister venture State Park) to "move on to other projects."
The rest of the team will open something new in the same space, according to the statement, and State Park will continue as is. "As we all look back on the great times we have had, we are excited to celebrate Hungry Mother in this final month," writes the team. "We look forward to feeding you soon."
