The Vault in the Financial District closed down earlier this month for a remodel, and it will reopen for lunch today as Vanderbilt Kitchen & Bar, the Boston Hospitality and Tourism Industry Blog reports. Boston Restaurant Talk noted late last month that the Vault's ownership applied to change just the name of the establishment with the city; it appears the same people are still behind Vanderbilt.
Vanderbilt has rebranded its Facebook (though The Vault's page still exists, for now), Twitter, and Instagram profiles. It opens at 11:30 a.m. today and is hosting live music tonight, a regular occurrence when it was The Vault. This Saturday, May 16, the new restaurant is hosting a grand opening celebration with complimentary cocktails and appetizers from 7 - 9 p.m.
