Ogawa Coffee Opens Its First U.S. Location in Boston on May 22

Kyoto-based Ogawa Coffee debuts on Boston's Milk Street on May 22, the coffee shop announced on Facebook today. The doors will open at 10 a.m., and this is the first location in the United States, as previously reported.

Ogawa's director, Takako Oji, previously told the Boston Globe that Kyoto and Boston, sister cities since 1959, have a lot in common with regards to demographics, particularly college students and international tourists.

Expect plenty of espresso options (topped with beautiful art). There will also be an event space, training area, and "brewer's lab."
