SOUTH END — On Monday, May 18, Samuel Monsour and Richard Chudy return to Boston Chops one more time for a burger pop-up celebrating the release of their cookbook, American Burger Revival: Brazen Recipes to Electrify a Timeless Classic. Dubbed the "Super Burger Bros. Final Level," the pop-up begins at 9 p.m., serving up a la carte burger specials from the book (as well as Boston Chops' late-night burger), watermelon mezcal mules, and black-and-white boozy milkshakes. BEACON HILL — Enjoy the warm weather with a picnic basket full of lunch or dinner from Beacon Hill Bistro. The restaurant launched its seasonal picnic service this week; diners can order from a menu that includes dishes like a roast chicken BLT, Connecticut-style crab roll, steak frites, and more. The Public Garden and Boston Common are a short walk away. There's no extra fee for the service, which includes use of a picnic basket and blanket.
