Make-Your-Own Cookiewiches at Gracie's; Try Games of Thrones Beer at The Haven

UNION SQUARE — Ice cream is great. Cookies are great. What does that say about ice cream and cookies together? Gracie's Ice Cream is collaborating with Kitchen Millie, maker of "two-bite cookies," for a make-your-own cookiewich event on Tuesday, April 14 at Gracie's, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be a variety of flavors available in both ice cream and cookies. JAMAICA PLAIN — On Wednesday, April 15 at 6 p.m., head to The Haven to try out Ommegang's newest Game of Thrones beer, Three-Eyed Raven, a dark saison. There's also a limited amount of the Ommegang Valar Morghulis. Plus, there will be food specials out of the Game of Thrones cookbook, A Feast of Ice and Fire — prepare for things like haggis, oatcakes, boar sausage, smoked haddock, and sea trout. KENDALL SQUARE — Get a little bit spruced up for an uncharacteristically "special fancy dinner" at State Park on Tuesday, April 21, celebrating the release of a new Jack's Abby brew, Sunny Ridge Pilsner. Dinner starts at 6:30 with five courses and beer pairings. Beer makes its way into some of the food, too, as is the case with the Smoke & Dagger-braised short ribs. There's also an "oozy cheese course." Tickets are $69.85 after tax and tip. Plus, anyone can come by starting at 5 p.m. to just celebrate the beer release to the sounds of a live polka band.
