After its Beacon Hill landlord unexpectedly ended its lease in 2012, Cafe Quattro found a new space in the South End and plans to reopen there this month, according to Suffolk University's Sawyer Business School news. An exact date will be announced "soon."

In March, the team launched a Kickstarter to raise $20,000 to help move, buy, and install new equipment. That campaign fell short, but the team is back with a trimmed-down $7,000 goal for similar needs. Cafe Quattro has until Thursday, April 30 to raise the funds this time.

When it opens, the new Cafe Quattro, located on the corner of East Springfield Street at 817 Harrison Ave., will have a "live wall" growing all of the restaurant's fresh herbs, owner and Suffolk alum Evan Butland told the Sawyer Business School news.
