Puritan & Co. has been using an adjacent space for storage since opening, but the restaurant will now be putting it to public use every Saturday, starting this very weekend. From noon to 2 p.m., the space will be dubbed the Puritan Meat Market, according to a press release, and various takeout options will be available. Think New England grinders, corned beef sandwiches, meatball subs, and more, priced at $10 or less.

"During this tough winter, my team and I started to think of new, fun ways to invite guests back in for the spring," said chef/owner Will Gilson via the press release.  "Now, we have a bit of spring fever and so does the restaurant.  We wanted to continue our focus of always evolving and moving forward to make sure that Inman Square continues to be an exciting and innovative dining destination."

The team is also changing things up on Sundays, now dubbed "Southern Sundays With Saenz." Chef de cuisine Alex Saenz, an alum of Lineage, will take the reins, offering specials influenced by the cuisine in his native Charleston. Keep an eye out for shrimp and grits, lots of pork, fried green tomatoes, sweet tea, and more.
