Early spring marches on with plenty of restaurant openings on the horizon in and around Boston, and the job boards have been quite busy lately. A few upcoming openings are now hiring for lots of different positions.
Babbo Pizzeria e Enoteca — The first Batali and Bastianich venture in Boston is aiming to open later in April and currently seeking a variety of positions, mostly front-of-house, such as hosts and baristas. There will be pizza, pasta, gelato, and more.
Naco — Michael Scelfo's upcoming Central Square taqueria is "opening soon" (May is the latest estimate) and searching for servers, bartenders, food runners, and hosts. It will be "a fun, fast paced restaurant serving tacos (of course), tortas, beer, and wine," according to the job posting, which also promises a "high energy and low pretense environment." There will also be a large patio.
PAUL — The "flagship" Boston-area location for the large French bakery chain has been in the works for a long time; the Assembly Row location ended up getting open first. But now the 125-year-old company is seeking waitstaff for the Downtown Crossing location and promising Facebook fans that it will open "soon."
