Roxy's Grilled Cheese owner James DiSabatino has signed a lease for a new restaurant, reported Boston Restaurant Talk on Friday, although the location is still is a secret.
But wait — there's more.
DiSabatino actually has two new locations in the works, he tells Eater — "one in Boston and one outside of Boston." Don't expect an exact copy of the existing restaurant, which is nearing its first birthday on Cambridge Street in Allston. "We want every location to be an evolution of our brand, not just with our food but with our design, physical space, and approach to hospitality," he says. "And these spaces will definitely show that."
In addition to the brick-and-mortar location and the two future ones, there are also a couple of Roxy's trucks out on the road regularly. While the trucks focus on the namesake grilled cheese, the restaurant also offers burgers. And you can "add bacon to anything."
