Locally grown burgers-and-more chain B.Good announced on Facebook today that it will open up shop in the Seaport by the end of this summer, as noted by Boston Restaurant Talk. Located in the Vertex building at 50 Northern Ave., the location will the the chain's sixth in Boston proper.
B.Good started in Back Bay in 2004 as a burgers-and-fries spot and expanded its menu offerings last year to include healthier options. Around the same time, the company announced grand plans for expansion — between 10 and 15 new stores by the end of this year. With nine stores at the end of 2013, B.Good now has 18 locations around Massachusetts and the greater northeast, including one in Raleigh, N.C. "We didn't want to be pigeonholed as a burger place," co-owner Jon Olinto told the Boston Business Journal last fall. "It's crazy how quickly we kind of pivoted, and how quickly [consumers] responded."
The Seaport location will cater to a working crowd with burgers and fries, as well as smoothies, salads, and grain bowls.
