1) BRIGHTON — Chili Thai Bistro opened up in the former Bluestone Bistro location at the end of March. So far, Yelpers recommend the Pad Thai, and are impressed with the restaurant's modern decor. Status: Certified open. 1799 Commonwealth Ave., Brighton. (617)-254-2254.

2) EAST BOSTON — Tipico Dominicano is now open in East Boston, according to a poster in a Chowhound forum. No one answered the phone at the listed phone number, though, and the restaurant doesn't have a discoverable social media presence yet. The Chowhound tipster says Tipico Dominicano is located at 386 Chelsea St., most recently the home of Que Padre Taqueria, which closed its East Boston location in September and is working to reopen somewhere downtown. Status: Unconfirmed open. 386 Chelsea St., East Boston. (617)-567-0099.

3) WEST ROXBURY — Ria Cafe has brought European gelato to West Roxbury: It officially opened on Saturday. The spot will host the West Roxbury Spring Festival on on April 25, with live entertainment, local food, and bouncy houses. Ria previewed gelato flavors like Nutella and lemon sorbetto last year, and the cafe also has Lavazza coffee, chocolates, and pastries. Status: Certified open. 5 Bellevue St., West Roxbury.
