Today at 11:30 a.m., Kendall Square gets a new lunch option: Study. The four-month-old restaurant is serving lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on weekdays (except for Monday). Like the dinner menu, the lunch offerings will be in constant flux; daily menus are shared on the restaurant's website, and the lunch menu mirrors the dinner menu's style of simply describing each dish with three ingredients. Today's dishes include braised mutton (horseradish, apple, parsnip), fish (mussels, quinoa, fennel), cauliflower (tofu, mushroom, tumeric), and two more options, all priced in the mid-to-high teens. If you want dessert, there's a cart full of selections.
Want something a little more casual? Study's adjacent sibling, Ames Street Deli, serves a sandwich-filled lunch menu daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., including one that involves rabbit and carrot together at last.
