Prototype Nights at Bronwyn: The Union Square restaurant has been continuing its Tuesday night dinner series, Prototype Nights, featuring different German and Central/Eastern European dishes (and drink pairings) between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. (alongside the regular dinner menu). While most of the offerings are meaty enough to potentially satisfy burger cravings, an actual burger next makes an appearance on April 28 — a Serbian hamburger (pjleskavica). Because it includes pork, it's sort of a hamburger/sausage hybrid. It's served on traditional Balkan bread and topped with raw onion, cooked peppers, and cream cheese. (By the way, the regular Bronwyn burger, the Bronburger, is available every night of the week as well; it's just not listed on the menu these days. And there are only five, so get there early.)
