Starting today, Brewer's Fork is offering lunch service from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on weekdays. Every cooked item on the new Charlestown restaurant's menu gets prepared in the massive wood-fired oven, and the lunch menu is no exception, featuring 10 different pizzas as well as sandwiches, oysters, and some small plates.
The restaurant just snagged a "Cheap Eats" review in the Globe, where Catherine Smart praises dishes like the oven-roasted meatballs (available in sandwich form on the new lunch menu), which "taste like your Sicilian grandma's," and the margherita pizza, which "proves they've got the basics down."
